My name is Carlos Vasconcelos. I am the Director of the Portuguese Brazil School, a teacher of Portuguese and a Journalist.
I was born and raised in Espírito Santo, Brazil, where I earned an MBA. I came to San Francisco in 2001.

After seven years teaching Portuguese Language to many people (that now are my friends) in San francisco and in the Bay Area, I took the challenge of opening my own school in July 2005.
Our school is located in the heart of San Francisco (one block from the enchanting Union Square, on the corner of Powell and Sutter Street).
The address is 500 Sutter Street, Suite 310, San Francisco, CA, 94102. Three blocks from Powell MUNI and BART stations.
If you would like to learn the Portuguese Language, take Portuguese Classes, from native speakers, have a Portuguese tutor or a Portuguese Translation job that needs to be done, or even if you are planning a trip to Brazil, I will PERSONALLY help you on the phone or email. I will be the first one to speak with you always.

OUR SCHOOL IS NOW ALSO IN BRAZIL We have finally arrived back from Brazil where we spent the last 3 months setting up our new school in Brazil. Soon you will be able to choose one of our programs to learn Portuguese, Capoeira, Culinary, and Music in different locations in Brazil. Details about our classes in Brazil will be available in May 2008. SPRING 2008 SCHEDULE We are accepting applications for all levels. Beginning / Intermediate / Advanced 1) INTENSIVE PROGRAM FOR BEGINNERS (two hours per week / six weeks / twelve hours total)
FREE MATERIALS + 2 FREE CDs + FREE CONVERSATION CLASSES
**Starting Date: Thursday, June 5th. We will meet every Thursday from 7:45pm to 9:45pm (2 hours per week).
**Schedule: June 05 / June 12 / June 19 / June 26 / July 03 / July 10.
**Program fee: $15.00 per hour + Free Material + Free CD's + Free conversation Classes. The full amount of $180.00 should be paid at once.

2)"SWITCH" PROGRAM FOR SPANISH SPEAKERS (one hour and 30 minutes per week - pay-by-month) FREE MATERIALS **Starting Date: This is an ongoing course. Enroll today. We meet every Friday from 6pm to 7:30pm. (1 hour and 30 minutes per week). ***Program: Speacially designed for Spanish Speakers. Based on our 7 years experience teaching Portuguese for Spanish speakers, we have created a special program that will do the "switch" faster than regular grammar classes.
**Program fee: $15.00 per hour + Free Material . The full amount of $90.00 should be paid at once at the first day of class for the first 4 classes (pay-by-month).
